A typical Sunday…
So what happens at a typical Sunday service?
Our service generally starts with a song, a few announcements, a Psalm, and some more singing.
After the singing we spend time together in corporate prayer (silent and out loud), followed by the Lord’s Prayer(the “Our Father”). When the singing and prayer time is over, we allow time for testimony. And then after this the Word of God is read from the Old and New Testaments.
After the singing, testimonies, and readings, we dismiss children for Kids’ Church and take a moment to greet one another. Next we gather under God’s Word in the sermon.
After the sermon, we partake of the Lord’s Supper (or communion), sing God’s praises once again, and then we dismiss back to our lives: Salt and light in a world God loves.
